The Department of Commerce, Patkar-Varde College, was established in June 1980 with two divisions of F.Y.B.Com, which were extended up to the T.Y level in subsequent years. It also has a Ph.D. research center. There are two faculty members in the Commerce department. The Department strives to align its activities in line with the Vision and Mission Statements of the College and provide courses and co-curricular activities aimed at enhancing the employability and soft skills of its Students.
