The students of T.Y.B.M.M Journalism organized an event Speak Up - Celebrating freedom of expression. The event was held on August 2011.
On the occasion of celebration 64 years of independence, the TYBMM (Journalism) students organized an event through which students can express their opinion and exercise their fundamental right of ‘Freedom of Speech and Expression’. There were four competition included in the event.

The elocution and the the Ad-making event was held on August 2011.
Topics for elocution were
- How to Stop corruption in daily life
- Freedom safety security and responsibility on workers in mass media
- Advertising ethics
- Portlier of woman in Indian media
Ad making was an on the spot competition. Where the participants were given a a topic which they were to prepare in 5 minutes and present.
Dignitaries from the field of media judged the event. The aim behind conducting such an event was to enhance analytical understanding of the students and also prepare them to get rid of their stage fear. The topics were therefore carefully chosen. |
