Five teachers are doing part-time research. One teacher has gone on study leave as a full- time research scholar.
Under the guidance of Principal, Dr.U.C. Mashelkar, one full-time research scholar and seven part-time research scholars are doing their Ph.D.
Under the guidance of Dr.A.G. Gadre - one part-time research scholar , Dr. V.L. Dhavan - one full-time research scholar, Dr.G.S. Nadkarni - two part-time research scholars, Dr. R. S. Yamgar - three part-time research scholars are doing their M.Sc.
 

The college provides financial support to research students Two research scholars from Art / Science / Commerce, are given Dr. R.R. Ambardekar Research Scholarships worth Rs.2,500/- each, every year. In addition to this, laboratory facilities are provided.

Dr. N. G. Durge has got sanction for research project on "Structural, Electrical and Magnetic Properties Of Electroceramic Material " from the University of Mumbai on 10th January, 2003. -

Dr. R.S. Yamgar has got a sanction for research project on "Extraction & Recovery of Dyes from effluents of the Textile Industry by Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) based aqueous biphasic system" from the University of Mumbai on 10th January, 2003.

A few instances of appreciations of the research work done by the Principal, Dr.U.C. Mashelkar is worth mentioning, Dr. U.C. Mashelkar received a grant of Rs. 36,500 from US company Dupont under technology transfer program in 1999-2000. So far eight students have got their PhD. Degree under his able guidance. He has published 32 research papers in reputed National and International Journals. Another honorary faculty member of our B.M.S. course, Dr. BipinMsar was invited to the United States by a consortium of five American Universities for advance training in clinical Psychology. The training was of two months duration and was totally free for Dr. BipinMsar because of the high quality of research that he has done for his Ph.D. work. Similarly he was also invited to participate for two weeks training in United States in the month of February, 2003.
