This year the Department of History of our college has the honour of hosting the 42nd session of the Annual Conference of the Institute of Historical Studies, Kolkata, from 30th November to 2nd December 2005. This will be a National Conference participated in, by Historians of great repute from the various States of India and from other South Asian countries as well.
